The Duke has been run by Nick and Annie since 1998, and now with bar manager Luke, head chef Brian and their great team of staff. Found off the main road to Ascot from Windsor Great Park, the Duke offers a wide variety of food from the Bar menu to our extensive A la Carte menu. Our Traditional Sunday Lunch menu is also very popular. Along with a variety of real ales from Arkell's of Swindon (Cask

Marque awarded), we offer premium lagers, ciders, spirits and an abundance of wines from around the world, as well as a wide range of soft drinks. The Duke provides free WiFi access (high speed compu-fix system) for its patrons, and offers a smoking shelter with heaters, in addition to the spacious beer garden which boasts a large avery. We also allow dogs in the bar (on a lead) and in the garden.

Many congratulations to The Duke of Edinburgh for being awarded Highly Commended in our branch pub of the year competition 🎉. We visited yesterday and made the presentation to the landlord, Nick.

The hospitality sector has come together to launch – a united campaign and petition calling for hospitality VAT to be reduced from 20% to 10%.

Spearheaded by chef and publican Tom Kerridge, we’re working alongside trade bodies across the sector, such as and , hospitality communities like , and you, businesses across hospitality, to say 10% VAT is fair for hospitality.

Our sector pays too much tax, and VAT is the single biggest lever the Government can pull to support venues, our customers, our high streets and our local communities.

This campaign is for everyone: businesses, customers, waiting staff, chefs, kitchen porters, bar staff, hotel teams, farmers, brewers, suppliers and producers.
