🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL CUSTOMERS🚨
🎆 FIREWORKS POLICY – THE MAJOR OAK🎆
Here at The Major Oak, the safety and wellbeing of our customers, staff, neighbours and local community will always be our top priority.
With this in mind, we would like to make it absolutely clear that customers are STRICTLY PROHIBITED from bringing fireworks onto or setting them off anywhere on our premises, including our car park, entrances and outdoor areas.
⚠️ PLEASE TAKE THIS NOTICE SERIOUSLY⚠️
Whilst we understand that fireworks are part of many celebrations, they can pose serious risks to people, property and animals. We have a responsibility to ensure that everyone visiting our pub can do so safely.
🎇 POSSIBLE FIREWORK DISPLAY🎇
We may decide to organise an official fireworks display at The Major Oak in the future.
However, we want to make it absolutely clear that any fireworks display will be organised and authorised by management, with fireworks handled only by management or appropriately qualified professionals.
Customers are NOT permitted to bring, handle or set off their own fireworks on our premises under any circumstances.
🚫 OUR POLICY IS SIMPLE:
- No customer fireworks are permitted anywhere on site.
- This includes the pub, car park and all outdoor areas.
- Any official display must be approved and organised by management.
- This rule applies to all customers, without exception.
- Anyone found ignoring this policy will be asked to leave immediately and may face a ban from the premises.
- Any dangerous or reckless behaviour that puts others at risk will not be tolerated.
❤️ WE WANT EVERYONE TO ENJOY THEMSELVES, BUT SAFETY WILL ALWAYS COME FIRST.
We are proud to be a friendly and welcoming local pub, and we want everyone to enjoy celebrations in a safe, responsible and respectful environment.
Please remember that a few moments of fun are never worth putting someone else's safety at risk.
We also ask everyone to be mindful of our neighbours, young children, pets and other animals who may be affected by fireworks.
Thank you to all our customers for your understanding, cooperation and continued support. It really is appreciated.
