Chablis 1er Cru “Mont de Milieu “ 2011 🔥🔥

Une bouteille ouverte dans l’après-midi lors d’une dégustation à la cave avec des sommeliers.

3 heures après, à la maison, c’est magique !
Un peu grillé, noisette, avec une touche miellé.
Il reste bien frais, droit dans ses bottes.
Un bouchon qui fait le taf 👌🏻

Des émotions qui nous font aimer avec passion notre métier.

Pourtant 2011, un millésime pas facile…
Merci le vin!


Chablis 1er Cru “Mont de Milieu” 2011 🔥🔥

A bottle opened in the afternoon during a tasting at the cellar with sommeliers.

Three hours later, at home, it’s magical!
Slightly toasted, nutty, with a hint of honey.
It remains fresh and true to itself.
A cork that does the job 👌🏻

Emotions that make us love our profession with passion.

Yet 2011 was not an easy vintage...
Thank you, wine!

Bourgogne Côte d’Auxerre Rouge 🍷
Entonnages à la mi-janvier.
La quantité est faible. (-60%)
On continue à affiner notre sélection sur les Tonnelerie qui nous accompagnent durant les 12 mois d’élevage.

Cette année la Tonnelerie D a rejoint notre petit parc à fûts.
Mais on continue avec et Tonnelerie Remond.

🥂Domaine Garnier et Fils Aligoté, 2022🥂

⭐️Crisp and zippy, with lots of fresh saline minerality and citrus notes.

🇫🇷Based in Ligny-le-Châtel, the Garnier family own 57 acres along the slopes edging the
valley of the Serein river. Truly a family affair, father Joseph first farmed the land of cows and grains in the late 70’s before planting the first vineyard with son Xavier in 1985.  

🍇Brother Jérome came on board shortly after and while their father sold the grapes, the two brothers began making their own wine, selling it to restaurants in and around Paris.

✨Construction of the cellar began in 1992 thru 2009 and the Domaine now produces 160,000 bottle per year working closely with their small team. While Xavier works the vineyards, Jérôme makes the wines with a maturity and ripeness that intoxicates. 

🌱Organically farmed and with minimal intervention in both the vineyard and cellar, the brothers harvest later than most to get the right expression of the fruit. Fermenting with natural yeast and ageing the wines in very large barrels, this exciting estate is achieving greatness with its Chablis.
