Laurent, Véronique, Frédéric & Philippe Drouhin represent the fourth generation of the family, upholding a heritage shaped by dedication, precision and a deep respect for Burgundy terroirs , in continuity with their father, Robert Drouhin.
They are here together in front of the entrance to the house of the Diénat. This residence belonged to the duke of Burgundy, then to the Kings of France and has been home to the Maison Joseph Drouhin since 1880. This door has been opened and closed for centuries, granting priviliged access to the secrets of the ancestral cellars below. Tradition is preserved and refinement is constantly redefined.

The origins of Castiglioncello di Bolgheri, part of the estate, date back to the 12th century, at an elevation of 393 metres above sea level.
Its position allowed control over the surrounding territory and the main routes connecting the hills to the coast.
Over the centuries, it passed to the Soderini family (1441–1650), then to the Incontri family, who acquired it in 1650. In 1801, it became part of the estates of Count Camillo della Gherardesca and, in the 1930s, was inherited by the Marchesi Incisa della Rocchetta.

The historic house of Château de Beaucastel blends stone walls with natural insulation materials: lime, h**p and a mix of clay and sand sourced from the excavation, creating a grounded and acoustically refined space.
Custom furnishings crafted from silk, bamboo, reclaimed stone and timber reflect a refined, site-specific design approach rooted in the estate’s heritage.
