We celebrated the life of this special man on Sunday at Eliro Cafe Bar with a lovely quiet intimate afternoon with close family and friends. Our deepest condolences again to Angela and all of Des’s family. We found him to be an extremely kind , considerate and intelligent Gentleman every time he visited and he will be greatly missed ♥️

It was a busy little weekend at Eliro Cafe Bar with a Birthday Saturday night, a celebration of life on Sunday and a Volcanic Voices Rehearsal on Monday. Add to that a quick trip to A&E for an eye injury after a fight with a cluster of balloons would you believe and i’m a little late with these posts, sorry , my screen skills haven’t quite caught up with my new eye patch pirate look !A few of the regulars are not letting me live it down of course 🤣 No permanent harm done and back at the wheel for more lovely upcoming parties next week .
For now, a few belated shots of the Pink Princess from Sat night. Sheila’s 60th went with a bang, with her and hubby Paul wining and dining their guests in style and Sheila her usual lovely bubbly wee self infectiously happy all night long ! Happy Birthday again Sheila from us all and as always thank you for sharing your special day with us♥️

Well August again which means the annual pilgramage
of the beautiful LAWLOR family to us here at Eliro Cafe Bar
As you will all know by now we hold all sorts of different events here but the nice thing about this one is it isn’t an occasion like a Birthday or Anniversary or an AGM or anything like that, they just make sure that come what may the family come from all over to gather here once a year in Summer and have a catch up and food and to listen to their very own super talented Sadhbh Keane Music
I have been following this girl since she was a young teenager and as I expected she is doing extremely well with her new single “Hate me Now” just out, check out her page or YouTube, it’s awesome 🙌
Despite what is shaping up to be a very,
very bright future for Sadbhd she is happiest with her feet on the ground and chilling with her family and them all singing along with amazing voices too (as the Irish do😄) It is a pleasure for me to witness this each year and to see her incredible growth year on year. A big thank you to Noel the strong patriarch of the family for continuing to let us be part of a really heartwarming event close to my own heart and wishing you all the best year ahead until the next pilgramage! ♥️

The Comedy Night with the Raw and Ruthless Ruth went really great last night for a first time 😃Laughter is the best medicine as we all know something Ruth is adept at and is developing the show into a longer session with new material each time so watch this space for that!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Nice mix of local residents and friends and 11 great fun Scots allowing me to talk at full speed Glaswegian Swaheli all night!!🤣🤣🤣

The most lovely Birthday party here tonight at Eliro Cafe Bar A really great bunch of people and a really chilled vibe♥️
The very inspirational Pat Who still teaches yoga at 80 years young and it shows! She danced the whole night away! Even got me up for a quick strut to Mick Jagger.🤟🏻
Thanking Pat and her loving husband for choosing us for her special day.
Special mention to your beautiful Granddaughter who made the most amazing varied cupcakes and the Ch*****ne Sangria you choose for your guests was a lovely touch !👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
