Friday 19 December 2025 and this Sunday the bar will be open as we have the annual ‘Operacion Sonria’ for adults with learning difficulties.

This is the third year Marie Carmen has organised the event at the bar and as always we are very happy to help.

We are still collecting gifts if felt tip pens, colouring books bags of sweets etc which can be brought to the bar today or tomorrow.

Father Christmas is arriving at 12.00pm exclusively for our guests but anyone is welcome to come along. It is very humbling and makes you appreciate how lucky we are sometimes.

Tuesday 9 December 2025 and after an exceptionally long but typical Bank holiday weekend for the immaculate conception and day of the constitution we start again.

Menu del Dia this week from 12.30pm to 5..00pm will be;
Starters
Caprese bruschetta
Mains
Grilled chicken breast homemade chips garden peas.

€8’95 per person. Booking recommended

We have Champions league football also starting tonight with the big, now annual, game between Real Madrid and Manchester City on Wednesday night.

Breakfast is being served and food including all day breakfast is available until 8.30pm.

Christmas Opening and Christmas Day Booking information.

Monday 1st December 2025.
Welcome to December folks and whilst we are closed today I want to let everyone know what’s happening at Bugattis over the Christmas and New Year period.

We will be open as normal up to Christmas Eve but after breakfast Christmas Eve we will be closed for a private party in the bar and on the terrace.

Sunday 21 December 2025 we will be open for our annual Christmas party for adults with learning difficulties. The bar will be open from 10.00am for drinks but no food will be available other than for our special guests.

Christmas Day we will be open from 10.00am until 6.00pm.

Having seen the prices for a Christmas roast dinner this year we have decided that food will be available as normal from our menu.

However we will do a few specials including an all day breakfast with homemade chips (11,95€) a mixed grill platter (18’95€) and fillet steak (24’95€) All to be pre-booked.

Booking is essential and a deposit of €20 per table is required as we will be very busy.
Please contact the bar to book. Tables will be available from 1.00pm to 4.30pm

We will be open as normal 26/27/30 December but closed as normal 28/29 (Sun/Mon)

New Year’s Eve we will be open until 8.00pm and then New Year’s day we will be open from 10.00am.

We will return to normal opening hours on Friday 2 January 2026.

This week’s menu del Dia will be;

Starters: Tomato and roast pepper soup

Mains: Sausages and Mash with peas and onion gravy.

8’95€ per person. 12.30pm-5.00pm

Normal menu and tapas is also available

Friday 28 November 2025 and after a very busy week today we have a slight change to the menu del Dia.

Today’s soup is Broccoli and Stilton soup for starters and Lamb chops or grilled chicken breast mains. Still for 8’95€.

Tomorrow (Saturday) breakfast will be available until 12.00pm and then we have a private party in the bar for the rest of the afternoon.

On Monday we will post our Christmas opening hours and our thoughts on Christmas Day.

Next weeks MDD mains will be Sausage, Mash and peas with onion gravy. We haven’t decided on a starter yet but tomato and roast pepper soup is currently looking favourite. We will confirm Tuesday.

Monday 24 November 2025 and whilst we are closed today opening 9.00am tomorrow I just want to ask a favour.

For the last 3 years we have held a Christmas party in the bar and on the terrace for adults with learning difficulties through the charity run by our amazing friends Marie Carmen

This year the party is on Saturday 21st December and I’m quite sure it will be as lovely and as humbling as the past years.

This year Myra Dunsmore is donating the proceeds from the Christmas hamper raffle she organises to the Charity Operacion Sonria (operation smile). Tickets for the raffle and the hamper can be viewed and purchased from the bar and Myra but we would also ask for some small donations, biscuits, tinned goods etc for the hamper if at all possible.

This is a great cause and I will attach some photos during the week from the last couple of years events when I can find them!!

We thank you in advance for your donations and ticket purchases. (Please note only Myra, Barbara and the bar will be selling tickets for this hamper.)

Saturday 22 November 2025 and it’s a cold one this morning with temperatures dipping to 3° tonight which is about as cold as it ever gets here in Murcia.

We have a full day today with breakfasts already in full flow, lunch from 12.30pm and food available until 8.30pm. If you’re having a lie in don’t forget we now have all day English breakfast.

We have Ashes cricket which at the moment is test cricket on steroids followed by replays from the Las Vegas GP Practice and qualifying and then Premiership football is back.

The sun is out and we should reach a comfortable 20° on the terrace today so it a lovely afternoon for a spot of lunch.

We have football from 1.30pm and can show 3 games simultaneously with Liverpool and Rangers in action at 4.00pm followed by Manchester City and Celtic later.

Should be a great start to the weekend.

Tuesday 18 November 2025 and another week starts with a little rain but overall the sun will be shining with temperatures in the 20’s°.

This week’s menu del Dia between 12.30pm and 5.00pm is as follows.

Mixed salad and Feta cheese starter

Pork solomio with peppercorn sauce and homemade chips. Main course

Both courses for - 8’95€!!!

All day breakfast is now available between 9.00am and 5.00pm to enjoy.

We will have all the live sports during the evenings. Tonight we have Scotland in a crucial World Cup qualifier!!

Paellas are also available with 24 hours notice as always.

Deep Hamburger Beef Sausage & Pepperoni Pie
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound beef sausage
1 cup pepperoni slices
1 unbaked deep-dish pie crust
1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
Heat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and beef sausage until browned. Drain excess fat. Season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Place pie crust into a deep-dish pie pan. Spread half the cheese over the crust. Add half of the cooked meat mixture, then spread half of the pizza sauce. Layer half of the pepperoni. Repeat with remaining meat, sauce, cheese, and pepperoni.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly, and crust edges are golden brown.
Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
