🎱 RIGHT, BINGO LOT… WE NEED A LITTLE WORD! 😂🎱

We LOVE how busy our bingo days have become. Honestly, seeing the place full, the banter flowing and the jackpots getting bigger is exactly what we want! ❤️

BUT… there’s always one. Or in this case, several. 😂

Over the last few weeks we’ve been fully booked, only to have people not turn up at the last minute… with absolutely no message, no warning, nada. 👀

And unfortunately, that causes a bit of a domino effect:

👉 People who actually wanted to play have been turned away
👉 The jackpot ends up lower
👉 The bar loses out
👉 And we’re left staring at a table wondering if everyone has been abducted. 😂

So, because apparently we now have to be the responsible adults in the room, we’re introducing a new rule FROM TODAY.

🎱 BOOKING 6 PEOPLE OR MORE?

There will now be a €10 PER PERSON NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT required.

The deposit must be paid NO LATER THAN 24 HOURS BEFORE your bingo booking.

❗ NO DEPOSIT = NO CONFIRMED BOOKING.

We will NOT hold the table beyond the 24-hour deadline.

❤️ AND JUST TO BE CLEAR…

These deposits are NOT being kept by the bar.

Every €10 deposit will go straight into the bingo fund for that day, meaning it will contribute towards the bingo prize pot. 🎱💰

So if you’re turning up, you’re not losing €10. You’re simply paying part of your bingo money in advance. 😉

And before anyone starts…

“But we all know each other.”
“Can you put us beside them?”
“We’re all one big group really.”

Nope. 😂

Going forward, requests for tables to be placed together on the basis that you know each other, are part of the same group, etc. will not be accepted.

This is simply to make sure the new system is fair and nobody can accidentally (or deliberately 👀) work around it.

We genuinely didn’t want to introduce deposits. We’d much rather trust people to turn up for the tables they’ve booked. Unfortunately, recent weeks have shown us that a little €10 insurance policy is needed. 😂

We also really don’t want to have to extend deposits to smaller bookings, so hopefully this sorts the problem and we can leave it there.

We’re a small bar with a very popular bingo, and we want everyone to have a fair chance of getting a table. ❤️

So please, if you book 6 or more, get that deposit sorted within the 24-hour deadline and we’ll see you on bingo day!

🏠 Don’t shout HOUSE when you’ve got half the bloody numbers still to get. 😂
