SUNDAY IN THE STUDIO - 7 Hours of Clay Adventure
Sunday, 25th January 10am – 5pm
Our popular Sunday in The Studio is back.
A full day in our new teaching studio in Polemi Village. Learning multiple pottery techniques. You will build a strong foundation in essential clay hand building techniques.
On completion you will have a unique, handmade stoneware dinner set for 2, functional & food safe pieces – microwave, dishwasher, oven and freezer safe.
Foundation Techniques:
Pinch Pots – Kurinuki Yunomi – Coiling – Horizontal & Vertical Slab Work
Maximum Class Size of 6 Students.
This comprehensive course is suitable for absolute beginners. We also share many tips and tricks during the day to ensure you learn extra skills and your pieces are strong, well made and functional. The course learning is complimented with comprehensive handouts and a return visit to learn about glazing.
Once you have completed this course, you are welcome to join our Enthusiastic Beginner Group in the studio in Tala to further develop your skills and then join as a Makers Space Member if you wish to continue your ceramic journey.
