About Cotton’s Bar

Our home restaurant & bar was the inspiration of Ms. Cotton Ding, who opened the first Cotton's in 2003. She wanted to open the doors for her Western and Chinese friends to enjoy Western food and some of her favorite Southeast-Asian dishes. At the time Cotton's opened, there were very few western-style restaurants in Shanghai. Ms. Ding not only wanted to provide her friends with food that reminded them of home but also wanted to create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere where her guests could come and sip Cotton's famous cocktails too. We hope you enjoy our Cotton's garden, historical villa, our dishes, cocktails and atmosphere.
