Mambanda Motor Park loses manager to separatist fighters

It has been a sad day this Friday April 17, 2020, for colleagues, family members, friends and the entire population of Kumba following the death of the manager of the Mambanda Motor Park Kumba III Subdivision.
Agbor Subaru, died following a bullet wound sustained in a shoot out at Ediki, a village along the Kumba- Buea highway, by separatist fighters.
According to sources at the scene, it happened towards the evening period as Agbor Subaru was returning to Kumba from Douala; after having left for Douala same Thursday morning.
KNews learnt that, the manager of the Mambanda Motor Park was a passenger in a transport vehicle trailing a military convoy to Kumba.
When they got to Ediki, the military convoy had speedily gone past, leaving the vehicles trailing it at the mercy of the separatist fighters.
In an attempt not to obey the order from the separatist fighters to stop, bullets were fired indiscriminately, leading to the shooting of Pa Agbor and some other three persons.
They were ferried to the Hospital but Agbor Subaru later gave up the ghost. Medics at the Kumba-District hospital are currently attending to the other wounded victims.
KNews learnt, Agbor Subaru went to verify information about his family member, a certain Quen Ako, who died in the USA after being infected by Covid-19.
The co**se of the manager of the Mambanda Motor Park in Kumba III Subdivision, is presently in the Kumba-District District hospital mortuary pending burial.
