MINI EMPANADAS

For the second weekend in a row you can have a delicious nikkei kitchen tapas spread to your cocktails. How about having the mini empanadas with chimichurri take center stage?!

These little veggie bites are wrapped in a perfectly balanced crunchy & fluffy dough and filled with huacatay - a south american herb especially popular in peruvian cuisine.
Some might call it the Andean equivalent of cilantro, but its taste profile is way complexer and can be compared to a blend of basil, spearmint and citrus with notes of tarragon as well.

CRISPY SUSHI RICE CUBE

The curious foodie might have noticed this recent trend in on social media already. But there clearly more than one way to use sushi rice.

In creative interpretation the sushi rice is formed into cubes and fried for a crunchy texture.

To round this vegan dish off it is served with a tasty dip consisting of soy, chili and sesame.

It's almost like crisps - you can never just have one!

GUA BAO

There is nothing that compares to the divine feeling as the sun is shining so bright upon us on this lovely Saturday and its rays gently caress our skin.

But taking a bite of tenderly cooked pork belly in a cloud-like bun with a topping of cilantro, scallions and a home-made sriracha-lime mayonnaise comes pretty close.

Enjoy the sun and cap off this beautiful day with cocktails and tapas. A small appetizer, full course meal or just a sweet dessert - we got you covered.

To celebrate the launch of Nikkei Kitchen Tapas by
tonight (available Thursday through Saturday from 6pm until lat) we partnered with
to bring you this juicy, double dry-hopped flavour bomb.

Great as a standalone star and even better in tandem with umami-rich dishes (check the stories 😉)

Canned just last week this might be the freshest DDH IPA you will get in town!
