B**R GIVEAWAY! Time to give away some b**r! 🍻DISCLAIMER: some of these are good, some are ok, some ehh. Some of these are experiments that didn’t turn out the way I wanted. Some were from free grains at the supply store that were unknown, so I tried to make a style out of the them. But hey it’s free b**r.
Here is what I have:
Free IPA (6), Phantastic IPA (12), Lilly’s Sour (12), Free ESB (12), Pumpkin Helles (24), Spicy Rita (24), Stay off the Dunes Dunkel (24), and Girl Power Porter (24). If you live in the Cary/Raleigh area and would like to pick up, let me know. Or if you will be down at Bald Head Island in May or June, I can bring down there. Cheers!

Each year I have a tradition of brewing “Santa’s Sauce”—a high gravity Doppelbock that Santa drinks after his big day. Then I started to think, “What does Santa drink during the other seasons?”

So here is the answer (hint: no lite b**rs for sure):

Spring - Santa’s Vitality Sauce - an Imperial Saison with lemongrass coming in at 10.7% abv

Summer - Santa’s Chillin’ Sauce - a Belgian Golden Strong that dips down to a low 10.0% abv

Fall - Santa’s Jacked Sauce - an Imperial Pumpkin Ale that scarily easy to drink at 12.0% abv

And finally, this year’s Santa’s Sauce at 15.1% abv

If you would like a Santa’s 4-pack (we all know he’s never gonna have a 6-pack), I have 10 available. All we ask is that you make at least a $40 donation to the . It would also help if you live in the Cary area or will be on Bald Head Island to avoid shipping. If you don’t, but would like to support the Conservancy, message me and we will see if I can work something out. I also have individual bottles of the spring, summer and fall b**rs available.

The 2022 Santa's Sauce has been bottled! Each year we try some different things to jack up the ABV%. Unfortunately this version only came in at 16.9% 🤣. It's a little sweeter than years past but hopefully it will mellow with some aging. We have almost two cases to share along with some aged from 2021.

In memory of our dog Chelsea, I brewed Bubba's B**r, a Belgian dark, strong ale. Brewed with 16.5 pounds of grain, for each year she provided us with unconditional love. It has 6 different grains that represent the 6 different breeds that made her who she was. From that batch, we made her favorite treat, Bubba's B**r Biscuits. Although we haven't been able to open just yet (we are working on it!), there is a great new business open on the island. Viv's Fridge has great meals, sides, and desserts that you can take & bake at home. What a great addition to the island life!!
