We have a few announcements.🦆
The Toronto Waterfront Festival, presented by Redpath Sugar, will be taking a pause for 2026. As a free, not-for-profit festival, our only sources of revenue are government grants and sponsor dollars. For the first time in our 16-year history, we did not receive any government funding, and FIFA World Cup 2026 has created a very competitive landscape for corporate sponsorship this summer.
We are using this year to regroup, reimagine, and get our ducks in a row... because we have some big news.
The World's Largest Rubber Duck is returning to the festival in 2027! 🐤
Mama Duck made a splash in 2017 and again in 2023, and she is ready to waddle back to help celebrate Canada's 160th anniversary.
