Some might ask why candles?

I grew up Catholic and I remember asking my nana why people would light a candle for prayer in the church. She told me that the smoke of the candle would carry the message to heaven. That always kind of stuck with me.

So I have always used candles for many reasons. To celebrate (a birthday), a gift, comfort (always with a bubble bath), and also on hard days sending a message to heaven.

The more people we love in life, and the longer we live, the more we have to grieve when they are no longer with us.

Today my candle is for Leslie 💚.. to know her was to love her.
