Here are your contestants for the 3rd Annual Blood Brothers Battle of the Bands! On Saturday, September 19th during the brand new Sound On Geary fest, come watch these six tremendous bands battle it out in our Sound Garage, right next door to our tap room. The audience winner gets a cash prize of $500 and free studio time at The Root Down studio.
Entrance is free.

We enjoy making lots of different beer styles, but what do our pros drink? Given a choice, what would they reach for? We asked our staff three questions: what is their current favourite brew of ours, book, and band?

Get ready to raise your steins and celebrate Bavarian-style at Bloodtoberfest! Our annual Oktoberfest party packed with live music, food specials, fun, and fresh beer is Saturday, September 26th at the Sound Garage next to our tap room at 165 Geary.

We are tapping exclusive Blood Brothers Oktoberfest brews just for this occasion. Doors open at 7pm with music by The Happy Wanderers starting at 8.

Bring your friends, dress in your best dirndl or lederhosen, and celebrate with us this most excellent of festivals.

In the early days of Blood Brothers, we came up with a name for an IPA recipe we knew was special. We loved it immediately and thankfully, so did everyone else.

There was just one unexpected problem: nobody seemed to know how to say it.

So we hit the streets and asked a group of completely unqualified strangers to pronounce the name of our flagship IPA.

The results? Wildly inconsistent.

The conclusion? It doesn't matter.

However you say it, it's still delicious.

Just drink it.
