We started out as a foolish bunch of backyard brewers using propane burners and frozen hoses and now we’re a real life microbrewery.

We make small batch craft beer in Sarnia, Ontario. Refined Fool is a group of teachers, creatives, blue collars, entrepreneurs, musicians and pastors who care about beer, business, Sarnia and each other. We began by brewing out of our houses in midwinter with propane burners and frozen hoses and have since evolved into a downtown nano-brewery.

Good news: Davis - Craft Kitchen & Bar is getting some major kitchen equipment upgrades

Bad news: we hit a few snags that slowed things down so it won't be done until Monday

Good news: since the weather looks perfect, we are hosting a "Super Happy Funtime BBQ" weekend instead; we'll still have 100% of our drinks and about 7 fantastic meal options.

BBQ runs Friday/Saturday from 3-7, and Sunday from 11-7. Stop by and see us!

Satan's Pillowcase Pumpkin Ale is back!!

This beautiful copper/gold hued ale features just the right combination of pumpkin and spices; not over-bearing, not under-bearing, just straight up bearing.

But we know what you're thinking, 'what will everyone think if I'm drinking a Satan themed b**r at my upcoming church function?'. It's a fair question, and our best guess is that you'll be promptly ejected from the building and sentenced to an eternity in the depths of hell. Personally we think it's worth the risk.

So go ahead and surrender your soul to this devilishly drinkable pumpkin treat. Now on tap and in cans at London Rd and Davis, and at LCBO's across the province.

It took 12 long years, but we've finally received the Magnum Opus of reviews. It has everything we've dreamt it would: questionable grammar, littered in profanity, the use of the new phrase 'above approach' in regards to vomit-production. Gold.

Dad Started Va**ng At The Renaissance Fair

Brewed as part of our Tiny Batch Series, this 5% Extra Special Bitter is toasty with notes of caramel and toffee. It's a beautiful malt-forward b**r made with traditional English malts and hops, creating a sessionable and well-balanced ale.

Our newest Tiny Batch Series release is a soft and flavourful 4.5% Session Hazy IPA. It's delicately hopped and well balanced, with aromas of sweet candy, citrus, mango, tropical fruit and lychee. Much like your husbands internet search history its best not to ask any more questions.
