So much love in one room. ❤️ Last Saturday I got to meet both of the Beer Babes Family founders Roxane Brossoit and Rachel Benkowski • They Call Me Beerkowski in person for the release of Babe Brew 78 brewed in collaboration by the women of Picaroons General Store and Picaroons Brewing Company.
Not only was the Passionfruit Pale Ale brew fantastic, but the connections, camaraderie, friendship and hugs were what made the day special. Just days earlier, I arrived home from Maine after emptying out my mom's apartment. These babes were all here for me and each other, and didn't even know the impact it had.
Thank you to everyone who traveled from near and far to celebrate the first Atlantic Canada release! You are all babes!
The Beer Babes Family is a charitable organization in the USA and Canada. They are also an online community, and a no tolerance for online bullying platform. They strive to support and positively engage all women in the beer community. This includes the casual beer drinkers to the highest level of Brewers, Cicerones and Beer Judges. They work with breweries throughout North America to brew Babe Brews. Funds raised from a portion of the sales of Babe Brew will be collected and awarded in the form of grants. Grants will be awarded to women who work in the beer industry who are trying to improve their beer business. We would love to collaborate with a brewery in each province in Atlantic Canada.
