What every Instructor wants you to know…👍
Here’s something we hope you’ll think about…
If you love having a line dance class in your community, you have a part in keeping it there.
We know life gets busy. There’s other activiites, camping, vacations, gardens, work, family and a hundred other things competing for our time. We completely understand taking a week or two off.
But when people take weeks and weeks away, while others do the same, the class can quickly become too small to sustain.
And here’s the part we really want everyone to understand:
Your local line dance class is not guaranteed to be there forever.
If the dancers stop showing up, eventually there may not be enough dancers to keep the class running. And once a class is gone, getting it started again can be very difficult.
So if you’ve been thinking, “I’ll come back when things slow down,” maybe don’t wait too long. 😉
Come dance when you can. Bring a friend. Try to make it out once in a while. Share the class posts. Tell your friends about us. Help us fill the dance floor.
You don’t have to be there every week — but if you want your class to still be there when you’re ready to come back, it needs your support now. ❤️
We absolutely LOVE what we do, and we love seeing people having fun, learning new dances, laughing together and becoming part of our dance family.
But we can’t keep a class alive by ourselves.
The instructor can bring the music, teach the dances and open the doors… but the dancers are what keep the dance floor alive. 💃🕺
So consider this your friendly little nudge…
Dust off those boots. ✔️
Come hear some music. ✔️
Bring a friend.✔️
Share the posts.✔️✔️
💃 And help keep your local dance class dancing!👍✔️✔️✔️
AND support the venue by buying food or drink so they are happy to host us! 👍✔️
Because we’d much rather see you on the dance floor than have to tell you one day…
“Sorry, the class is no longer running.” 💔
Sooo…
Show up when you can: Even if you can only make it once or twice a month between your other hobbies, your presence matters! A long break is a long time to miss out on the fun.
Show up to the extra hard work put out for special events they put on because those are a big part of them working hard to keep your classes going also ..
Like and share their page posts because social media is also working “behind the scenes” to grow the Line Dance community we all love! ❤️
Share our posts: Can’t make it this week? Hit that "Share" button! It takes two seconds and helps a new dancer find us.
Bring a friend: Word of mouth is our greatest superpower.
We want to keep boots on this floor for a long time to come, but we can't do it alone. See you at class! ❤️👍Let’s fill the floor! 👇
See you on the dance floor! 🤠❤️
