The Community Craft Beverage Festival’s mandate is to put together a fun event that celebrates local craft producers. We are a small but dedicated team of community volunteers.
This year’s festival brought more than its share of challenges—from a date change driven by FIFA scheduling to a new event location with weather conditions that tested everyone involved.
Yet despite those obstacles, what stands out most is not the challenging wind, uncertainty, or countless pivots required behind the scenes, but rather the incredible support of our amazing community.
To everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, performed, participated, and encouraged us along the way—thank you!
A special thank you to our craft vendors for their patience, spirit and adaptability.
A special thank you to our committee, whose dedication behind the scenes helped make this event possible; Heather, Judy, Chris, Tyler, Dorian, Mark and so many others who contributed their time, expertise, and encouragement. 
A very special thank you goes to our Canada Summer Jobs team: Mikayla, Robyn, Matthias, and Will. In just a few short weeks, they learned an incredible amount, worked tirelessly, and helped execute a complex event under challenging circumstances. Their professionalism, positive attitudes, and willingness to step up were remarkable.
The reality of our industry is that not every event unfolds exactly as planned. What defines success is how people come together when circumstances change. This weekend, I witnessed resilience, teamwork, generosity, and community at every turn.
Thank you for believing in us, supporting local events, and continuing to show up. It truly takes a community to make these experiences possible.
