Collaboration is our most powerful solution. 🥂

Whether it’s sharing data, implementing regenerative viticulture at scale, or streamlining sustainable packaging, we are stronger when we share the “secret sauce.” Innovation happens faster when we stop competing on sustainability and start collaborating for survival.

To everyone moving the needle: thank you for realizing that a win for the planet is a win for every cellar. 🌎✨ A massive thank you to our incredible sponsors. We couldn’t do this without your commitment to a greener glass.

From the historic land of Burgundy to the emerging terroirs of Quebec, grapegrowers are facing a common enemy: Spring frost. ❄️

Climate change isn’t just about rising averages; it’s about deregulation. A warm March followed by a freezing May is the “new normal.” It’s pushing farmers to the brink of what is physically and financially possible to protect. From massive wind machines to specialized heating cables and frost-protection sprinklers, a new era of innovative solution is being deployed to defend our wine. 🍇🌏

We are all in this together, and we are rooting for your resilience!

🎉 On a reçu une belle nouvelle hier !!!

🥂 Tasting Climate Change received fantastic news yesterday!

“A huge congratulations on receiving a Commendation for Best Drinks Event at The Drinks Business Awards 2026 — a fantastic achievement.
To give a little more context, a commendation is awarded at the judges’ discretion to entries that stood out as exceptional within a highly competitive category. While there is only one overall winner, the panel felt that Tasting Climate Change deserved special recognition for its ambition, relevance, and ex*****on.

As referenced in the script:
“Before our winner, the judges wanted to commend an ambitious attempt to bring together global scientists and wine professionals to discuss climate change solutions. A commendation goes to Tasting Climate Change.” - Sophie Allan, Events Director - The Drinks Business and The Spirits Business

I started this project 10 years ago with a dream: to create a meaningful event that would resonate within the wine industry. I am particularly thankful to all of the partners and people who believed in this project from the very beginning, and to everyone who joined me on this journey along the way. It has been a long road filled with many challenges, but also many rewards.

I want to thank my fantastic team, who helped make this past edition such a success: Hélène Dion, Director of Development; Audrey Aubertin, Social Media Manager; Maryline Demandre & Nathalie Laplace from Demandre Communications; Junie Muyle, Graphic Designer; and the technical team — Nicolas Venne at Om and Sébastien Howard at Winifred — as well as the 50 volunteers who generously gave their time.

Finally, a big thank you to all of our partners and sponsors for their generous support. Without you, Tasting Climate Change would not be possible.

We are working on many projects. We can’t wait to share them with you!

They say you can taste the future, but first, you have to read up on it. 📖🍷

The Tasting Climate Change conference is all about sharing knowledge, and one of the best ways to go deeper into these complex topics is through a good old-fashioned book.

Many of our expert speakers haven’t just presented their findings; they’ve written the literal books on them!

If you are here in Quebec, there is no better place to start than the WINO library ( ).🌿

What is the best book you’ve read about a climate-related subject? (Wine or otherwise!) Drop your recommendations in the comments below. 👇
