Downtown London is going to be LOUD tonight.

The Knights are back at home with the season HOME OPENER tonight. Puck drops at 7PM.

And just down the road, Rock the Runway is taking over Harris Park with Cypress Hill + Limp Bizkit.

So basically… downtown is going to be absolutely jumping.

Come grab a bite and a drink at Bear & Frankie’s before the game or concert. Patio’s open, restaurant’s ready, and we’re right across from Canada Life Place.

Chef saw one leaf hit the ground and immediately made stroganoff.

Braised Beef Cheek Stroganoff. Rich, creamy, ridiculously comforting and apparently September appropriate.

We fought the west sun. We won.

The new patio umbrellas are here and they are absurdly large. Genuinely unnecessary.

You can now sit on the patio at 5pm without squinting like you are reading a menu at the surface of the actual sun. The west sun used to turn our patio into a tanning bed with table service. Now it just sits there, blocked, thinking about what it did.

Come sweat less. Covent Garden Market, closed Mondays. 2hrs free parking.

Fresh bruschetta to start. A main that makes you question your loyalty to your usual order. Dessert because we’re all adults and nobody can stop you.

Three courses. $60.

Calories don’t count when it’s a limited time menu. We checked. Probably.

The pizza pocket you grew up on went to culinary school and came back fried, deluxe, and mini.

Marinara with Sleger’s micro basil. Order six for lunch with fries or salad, or start dinner with them and keep going through brisket, pickerel or gnocchi.

Lunch 30 for two courses, dinner 60 for three. Until August 16.
