Day 1 of the WI Women Fish annual online multi-species tournament was a blast! I joined this club in 2019. It is an awesome community and the largest all-female fishing club in North America (I think?!)… I look forward to this tourney all year. It pushes me to try new techniques and to go after species I would normally avoid.
If you’re considering joining a club, go for it! You’ll find support and like-minded folks. Here are a few that I belong to:

If you know me, you know that I hate these slimy, toothy, lure stealing, snot rockets… It was a not so brave catch and sloppy release of a Northern Pike (aka Jack). I’m quite sure this is my PB and second biggest I’ve seen in this lake. As you can tell I’m still learning! I’ve never claimed to be an expert - but each day on the water, skill and confidence builds! Get out there and have fun (or whatever this was) 😝 you’ll have great stories to tell!

I’m “almost” back…

The boat is in the water. A few open water fish were caught… but this little camper is taking up some time and energy. I’m also still on the teaching clock for a few more weeks.
