Join Bernie Fitterer on Friday, March 21st in the Keg N Cork Tasting Room for a sampling of Iron Hive Mead’s three different mead offerings.

Iron Hive is veteran owned, the recipes used date back 9000 years. They only use minimal ingredients for some really tasty local products.

We had originally been planning this event in partnership with Richard Toll, local Celtic Chef extraordinaire before his tragic passing so half of the $10 admission will be donated to the GoFundMe that Bernie started to support Richard’s wife and six children. Additionally, 10% of the evening’s proceeds will go toward to GoFundMe account.

We are sad and heartbroken to announce that we have lost our friend and a recent partner that joined us at Iron Hive Meadery. His passing was sudden and unexpected.
Richard Toll was a hard working partner, chef (Celtic Kitchen)and friend.
If you can please help out his wife Angela and family please do. Any amount is appreciated. Attached is his wife’s email if you wish to directly send her a few dollars.

Hey Support Local YYC come out to Buffalo 9 Brewing Co. For a great night of Robbie Burns. Food will be provided by Celtic Kitchen Edmonton and of course lots awesome beverages at Buffalo 9 Brewing!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇨🇦🍻💥🤘

We have partnered with and for a spectacular Robbie Burns evening. The evening includes a 4 course Scottish meal (there will be an alternative to Haggis available)!, a special performance by pipers and dancers based out of Red Deer, poetry, and lots of great drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).

Dinner at Three Vikings Food + Drink for the launch of a new product from Iron Hive Meadery I had a chance to meet the iron hive crew and sample some great products. Add a fantastic meal and it was a good way to end the day.
