The 2026 honey harvest has begun. This is the first pallet of empty boxes after they all the honey has been spun out. The first of many hopefully 😄
They will be set out at the back of the property to be cleaned up by the bees. This is a controversial subject and some people store their boxes "wet" with honey. I prefer dry and clean boxes and frames before they are stored away u til next season

Good morning everyone. Went queen catching today and have few extra after orders and making up nucs. These are open mated Buckfast Grafted Queen's, which are my favourite and do very well in our area. Gentle and great honey producers.
