Hey there dolls! It's Missy Jo, (your main Cheesecake Doll) After a bit of a break, I've been doing some soul-searching, reflecting on what really matters to me and what I want this amazing community to look like going forward.

I'm excited to announce that while the studio space is still closed (but in the works) we'll be putting on some awesome events this summer! Plus, I'll be offering mini photo shoots here and there, so keep your eyes peeled for those.

I've missed all of you so much and can't wait to catch up and create even more lasting friendships. It's these relationships that make Cheesecake Dolls and the Pinup Community so special and unique.
Let's embrace our inner pinup and have some fun together this summer! Stay tuned for updates on our website and social media.

Hello dolls, friends, fans, and supporters,

I have some tough news to announce today. I (Kaela) will be taking a medical leave from Cheesecake Dolls for a few months starting right away. This isn’t a goodbye but a Ta-ta for now.

As for the events currently scheduled:

The hair workshop and next out in style event are cancelled and I will be sending out messages and refunds to anyone who has already booked and paid a deposit.

This page will remain active, as well as our website but, I won’t be answering messages, comments, or emails. I also won’t be booking any future photo sessions, workshops, or hangouts for the time being.

Our group will also stay active because we all need a little connection right now. I encourage you to keep chatting, post ootd’s, make new friends, and keep the dream of Cheesecake Dolls alive for me.

I'll be honest... I usually don't start thinking about Halloween this early, but I think I might start doing this every year. Why not extend the magic as long as possible?! (& eat all the mini candies...)

Queen of the Night - Halloween Photoshoots FAQ

- Do I need to dress in pin-up to do this photoshoot?

NOPE! This Halloween set is open to your interpretation of Halloween. When I was imagining the set it was the throne-like chair that I had in mind and has evolved into something that is applicable to any sort of wardrobe!

- Will this set be available later?

If there is enough interest to re-build or keep it up, yes. But, as of this moment, it is one day only.

- Is it just Orange and Purple coloured props?

No! We will be using colour changing LED panels to light up the background and can customize to any colour you're wearing.
Most of our props are black, white, gold, and some of our flowers have reds and purples in them...

- Can I bring my partner for some spooky couples or family portraits?

YES!!

- What about the flying witch pinup shot? Can I do that too?

YES!!! We will have both sets available and set up at the same time. It will be easy to switch from one to the other within your hour photoshoot.

What are the Cheesecake Dolls?

First and foremost, Cheesecake Dolls is an inclusive vintage and pin-up community. We want everyone to feel welcome whether you’re starting out in vintage, are a seasoned pro, are a part of other pin-up groups, etc... We are all about just getting together, loving ourselves, and loving each other through the love of Vintage. (Enough love for you yet??) What that also means is we’ll be putting on different events to hang out with like-minded people who can talk about clothing, flowers, shoes, and so on! These events will range from concerts, bands, cocktails, sleepovers, poker nights, photoshoots, hair tutorials, hair workshops, posing workshops, car workshops, self-improvement workshops... I could go on FOREVER.

Secondly, we also run a studio with Shutter + Flash YYC. We have so much to offer for any pinup wanting a photoshoot that is fun and gets amazing results!

All in all folks, we just want to have a crap ton of fun together and so far I think we’re achieving just that.
