After a short break, the No.1 Ladies Night Market returns on Saturday, 1 November 2025, from 4 PM to midnight, promising an evening where jazz and soul fill the air, local artists showcase their crafts, and friends and families gather under the open sky.

Visitors can expect live acoustic sets, soulful vocal performances, and vinyl DJ sessions, all leading up to a headline show by the Botswana Society for Jazz Education (BOSJE). From mellow saxophone melodies to upbeat jazz rhythms, the music invites guests to tap their feet, sway to the rhythm, and soak in the evening.

The No.1 Ladies Night Market — A North Meets South Pour, with Jazz & Soul

This year’s Night Market brings a delicious “collision of flavours” to the stage: Okavango Craft Beer from the North meets Big Sip Craft Beer from the South, two proudly local brands pouring side-by-side as the evening’s perfect pairing for live jazz and soulful grooves.

From 4:00pm to midnight on Saturday, 1 November 2025, Wagga Gardens turns into an open-air lounge where clinking glasses keep time with sax lines. Expect crisp, river-kissed notes from Okavango Craft Beer rubbing shoulders with bolder Southern profiles from Big Sip, a friendly face-off designed for tasting flights, food pairings, and lingering conversations under the stars. (Because great music deserves great beer and both are made here at home).

Elevating the sip list even further, Portugal takes the wine spotlight through Vines Collection, think bright, lightly-spritzed Vinho Verde for sunset, elegant whites with minerality, and rich, smooth reds for the late set. Crowd-pleasers include Gazela Vinho Verde, Casal Garcia Vinho Verde, Hat Trick White, Mariana Tinto, and Silk & Spice Red Blend a curated range for easy sipping and connoisseur moments alike.

Headlining the soundtrack is the Botswana Society for Jazz Education (BOSJE), setting the mood for a picnic-style night of artisan stalls, local eats, craft tastings, and community magic.

“Two local craft beer houses—one from the North, one from the South—meeting on the same night, alongside a beautiful line-up of Portuguese wines?
