What a bittersweet and full-circle moment. 💙🎓

Last year, I served at commencement as a student volunteer. I remember looking at my sister queen on that stage and thinking to myself, “Next year, that will be me.” Through faith, hard work, and God’s guidance, that vision became reality.

This year, I had the privilege of serving as Miss University of The Bahamas, assisting the deans as they presented diplomas and congratulating graduates as they crossed the stage. It was an incredible experience witnessing the joy, pride, and accomplishment on each graduate’s face as they celebrated the culmination of years of dedication and perseverance.

Moments like these remind me that God places dreams in our hearts for a reason. Sometimes we may not know how they will come to pass, but with God and persistence, what once seemed distant can become reality.

Congratulations once again to the Class of 2026. As you begin this new chapter, may you continue to walk boldly in your purpose, embrace new opportunities, and trust the journey ahead. We are all rooting for your success. 👑💙

We had the pleasure of attending the University of The Bahamas 2026 Commencement Ceremony, celebrating the remarkable achievements of this year’s graduates. It was truly an honor to not only witness this milestone but also assist the deans in presenting diplomas to the graduating class.

Seeing the pride, joy, and accomplishment on the faces of the graduates made for an unforgettable experience. Congratulations to each and every graduate on this well-deserved achievement. As you begin this next chapter, may you continue to lead fulfilling lives, pursue your goals with purpose, and make a positive impact wherever your journey takes you.

Yesterday, Mister and Miss University of The Bahamas had the pleasure of attending two meaningful celebrations of excellence: the Spring 2026 Teachers Commissioning Ceremony and the Spring 2026 Awards Reception.

At the Teachers Commissioning Ceremony, we proudly celebrated future educators who have answered the call to inspire minds, shape futures, and make a lasting impact in classrooms and communities across The Bahamas. Later, at the Awards Reception, we were honoured to witness students being recognized for their hard work, leadership, and outstanding achievements within their respective programs and degrees.

It was truly inspiring to see so many future leaders being celebrated as they continue preparing to make their mark in their careers and communities. We are proud to represent UB and even prouder to celebrate the brilliance, dedication, and excellence of our fellow students. 💙✨

I had the pleasure of being invited to attend such a calming and meaningful wellness experience centered around reflection, healing, movement, and mindfulness. From guided journaling and intentional conversations to meditation and sound healing, the evening served as a beautiful reminder to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and become more present in nature rather than constantly consumed by our phones and busy routines. I learned more about self care and workplace wellness.

I also had the opportunity to receive a copy of Simmone’s new book, which made the experience even more special. Truly an evening that encouraged stillness, restoration, and intentional living. 💙✨

Mister and Miss University of The Bahamas, alongside the incoming SGA President, had the honor of attending this meaningful event and reflecting on what it truly means to serve as student ambassadors through leadership, resilience, service, and a commitment to uplifting others. The evening beautifully highlighted the impact donor support continues to have on the lives of students through scholarships, resources, and opportunities that shape confidence, purpose, and academic success within the UB community.

I am truly grateful to have successfully graduated from the National Youth Leaders Certification Program. This program focused on preparing youth leaders to make meaningful contributions within our community.

Throughout my journey to the crown, I was able to apply many of the lessons I learned through the program. Now that I have officially graduated, I feel even more equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to better serve the University of the Bahamas community and continue making a positive impact through my platform, The Confidence Equation. 💙👑

Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the Miss Teen Universe Bahamas Pageant, where I witnessed the young women as they competed with grace, confidence, and determination for the crown. It was truly inspiring to witness such beauty, poise, and purpose on stage.

Congratulations to the newly crowned Miss Teen Universe Bahamas - Kristaney Duroseau, 2026 Teen International World Bahamas - Zaniyaa Bowe, and Bipo Teen Top Model - Syonne Rolle. Congratulations to all the competitors on their outstanding achievements! Each of you represented excellence, and your journeys are only just beginning. 💙👑
