The most anticipated and attended event of the year in Abaco. The community of Green Turtle Cay will be throwing the party this year on July 1st 2016.

The creators of Cheeseburger in Paradise event on Fiddle Cay, are taking a break from hosting this wonderful event. We thank the creators for their tireless work building this fantastic family friendly event. We will continue the tradition on Fiddle Cay with FREE cheeseburgers, margaritas and so much more! All proceeds of this year's merchandise sales will go to the Amy Roberts Primary School and

the Green Turtle Cay Volunteer Fire Co.

It’s that time again… the grills are warming up and planning is underway for another legendary Cheeseburger in Paradise celebration in Abaco.

Each year locals, boaters, and island friends come together for a day of burgers, music, and community — with proceeds supporting projects that help our Abaco community thrive.

This year’s official event shirt is being designed by a talented local Abaco artist, making it an extra special piece of island art that people will be wearing all over the Bahamas and beyond.

It’s the time of year to be thankful, and we’re beyond grateful for you—our community, our sponsors, every volunteer, every donor, and every person who showed up to make Cheeseburger in Paradise so special! ✨✨💖

As we look back, we’re reminded just how much heart this little island community has. You’re the reason this event feels like family.

In 2025 we raised $94,815 and were able to fund some pretty amazing grants back into the community. We have put $100,000 towards the historical society and the point restoration over the last few years. We also gave out 2025 grants to the following initiatives and programs:
