Tucked near Antwerp Central Station, NI SHIFU brings the true art of Sichuan cooking to life.

Every dish is packed with bold, authentic flavors that hit just right. The vibe is relaxed and genuine, with one person impressively handling both the bar and service - always friendly, even when it’s busy.

Our favorites: fried marinated duck, chili chicken, and stir-fried eggplant. In-sane. Portions are generous and we definitely over-ordered, but no regrets. Thank God for doggie bags!

If you’re craving real Sichuan spice and heartwarming hospitality, this is the spot. Its a popular spot, a reservation is definitly needed!

Finally made it to COBRA HOUSE, the new chapter from the team behind Antwerp’s beloved COBRA, and wow, it’s a vibe.

Set in a beautifully reimagined old rectory, the place feels calm yet full of life: cozy seating, an open kitchen buzzing with energy, and a garden that makes you forget you’re in the city.

The food balances comfort and creativity: pizzettes, rotisserie chicken, salt-crusted sea bass,… all cooked with fire and flair. Add in great cocktails and even a DJ in the bar area on some nights, and it’s the perfect blend of dining and atmosphere.

FILO is the cutest new pastry business by Maria, the friendliest Greek girl you’ll ever meet!

She doesn’t have a shop (yet!) but you can find her pastries at Revista or order them directly via her instagram page. Her specialty are cookies, so we were very excited to try her Fall Cookie Box. Man… it did not disappoint!

We love that she offers unique flavors you don’t find everywhere. With flavors like tiramisu, salted caramel pecan, and pumpkin spiced cheesecake, every bite felt like a warm hug!🍪

We had dinner at NAKAZU, an intimate fine dining spot in the south of Antwerp with just 12 seats at the bar.
They serve 14 courses that blend Japanese flavors with French techniques, each perfectly presented.

It’s clearly a family-run place, full of passion and attention to detail, with carefully chosen drinks and even their very own champagne.

The whole evening felt cozy, calm, and refined, a really special experience.

LELLA is the kind of place you’ll want to come back to.

Great for breakfast, brunch or lunch, with a menu that travels from Moroccan flavors to the most amazing caramel pain perdu.

The flavored iced matcha lattes and traditional Moroccan tea are full of flavor, the service is warm, and the sunny terrace is as colorful as the food. Everything is halal too!

BARRIQ has charm in all the right ways.

Cozy Parisian bistro vibes, complete with a live pianist every night. Their sharing concept lets you pick à la carte or go for the tasting menu. We went for the second option and weren’t disappointed!
The tom kha kai mussels were a real highlight, and dessert was just as amazing. Unique cocktails, super attentive service, and a sunny terrace that’s perfect for warm evenings.

Tried out TAQUERIA RICO and yep… it’s a win.
Mexican streetfood done right – everything’s handmade, even their tortillas.

Our top picks? The al pastor and cauli tacos - both absolute standouts, accompanied by the papas. And do NOT skip the esquites as a side. We’re obsessed.

We got lucky with the sun and soaked it all in on their terrace - highly recommend when the weather plays along.

Cella certainly impressed us with its stunning waterfront view and beautifully repurposed warehouse space. Industrial chic meets elegance.

Exceptional quality food, top-tier cocktails, and a killer wine selection!

Service was spot on and made the experience even better. Plus, a great spot to enjoy a drink. Definitely worth a visit!

Smudged at Sint-Paulusplaats is the kind of spot where you can easily spend hours without realizing it.

The vibe is super relaxed, and they take their music as seriously as their food and drinks. You’ve got a great mix of small sharing plates and full mains, all whipped up in an open kitchen that keeps the place buzzing.

The warm, 70s-inspired interior makes it feel cozy and welcoming. And if you stick around for the weekend, it turns into a fun little disco.

We’ve been twice now, and it’s quickly becoming a favorite — it’s just that good! Oh and did we mention they have a bathtub as a sink in their toilets? 🤪

LE OUI is a new spot on the cozy Hendrik Conscienceplein, run entirely by Chef Louis.
He serves up a weekly changing menu of modern cuisine with a classic twist, using his own fermented creations to add something special to each dish.

It’s a small restaurant, which means you get an intimate, personal experience every time. Plus, the selection of natural wines is a perfect match for his creative flavors.

If you’re into unique fine dining in a relaxed setting, Le Oui is definitely worth a visit!
