When you want to scale a brand, you need to establish rules and guides to help maintain a consistent identity throughout all channels. Not only the brand guidelines will include the color palette, the logo variations and the typography, it defines every aspect of the new experience design containing specific rules and standards in which and how all the elements are to be used and not to be used. The brand guidelines, also called a brand book or manual, lays the groundwork for all future opening, relocation and remodelling to help anyone understand the process and operations for implementation in a simple and easily understandable structure. The brand guidelines should have also references that are easy to implement on a global scale for future domestic or international expansion.
