Deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the tragic loss of lives, caused by the devastating floods that have struck Nepal. On behalf of my people and Government, I convey our deepest condolences to Prime Minister Balendra Shah and the people of Nepal.
Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have lost their lives, and with their families and loved ones as they bear this immense loss. We stand ready to extend any support that Nepal may need at this time of distress.
