Thanks to my amazing Big Sis, for writing this great post about this years Beats for the Blues 2025
She's also fabulously funny and one of my most favourite people
Oi. Big proud af sister moment loading…and yes, I’m about to gush a bit, so prepare yourself.
This weekend, my sister (and yes, adoption is rife in my family - did the hair colour give it away?) is throwing one hell of an event:
Beats for the Blues 2025
And no, she didn’t just repost a mental health quote, she built a whole freaking festival. For mental health. For community. For the people who need it most.
While the rest of us are still deciding what’s for dinner, she’s out here breaking stigmas, raising awareness, and somehow managing to run a lineup tighter than my pants after dinner.
And yeah, she’s 100% secured Favourite Child status now and I am fkn furious.
But also, faaaaark I’m so proud. So stupidly proud I could burst.
So if you’re out and about in the Illawarra, get to this. Bring your mates. Your mum. Your uncle. Your kids. Your Dad. All are welcome.
