When we announced that Pirates Tavern needed a new crew, our community responded.
The post received over 100 likes, along with shares, comments and messages from people offering to help. That support meant more to us than you may realise. ❤️
Several people told us they were interested in joining the WMA Committee. If you’re one of them, we now need you to formally put your name forward.
📄 To be considered for the committee, please complete the nomination form and return it by Sunday 13 September 2026, two weeks before the AGM.

If you need help finding someone to propose your nomination, please contact us. We’re happy to help, so please don’t let that stop you from applying.
Every completed nomination helps us understand how many people are ready to serve and will help determine the right size for the next committee.
You don’t need to have all the answers. You need to care about the Tavern, be willing to contribute and be ready to work alongside others who want to see it continue.
