Is WISA membership worth it?

Don’t take it from us, hear it from those in the industry.

Enartis Pacific has been a WISA member since 2018 and were winners at the Wine Industry Impact Awards, gaining valuable exposure and strengthening their position in the market.

WISA exists to connect, support and elevate the businesses that power the wine industry’s value chain.

If you’re a supplier looking to grow your relevance and impact, this is exactly where you should be.

Four days to go till our Increasing Efficiencies webinar to kick off 2026. This session brings together four expert perspectives on improving winery efficiency:

- Dr Eric Wilkes (AWRI) – how process-driven analysis can reduce hidden costs and delays by ensuring only value-adding testing is undertaken

- Leon Minnie (Seeley International) – how precise temperature and humidity control in barrel halls can improve quality, reduce operating costs and support sustainability

- Josh Amos-Winfield (Enartis) – using real-time fermentation monitoring, automation and predictive tools to reduce waste and improve decision-making

- Radek Petlak (Efficient Winery) – practical efficiency improvements that can still be implemented ahead of Vintage 2026, across energy, refrigeration, pumping, washing, receiving, pressing, fermentation, sampling and powder additions

The webinar also includes an interactive (not recorded) discussion, giving participants the chance to share what’s working in their own wineries and learn from peers across the industry — a key reason to attend live.

Free for members or $39 for non-members. Sign up at our website today! Link in the comments

Hear from Leon Minnie from Seeley International during our next webinar about how advanced Indirect‑Direct Evaporative Cooling (IDEC) technology delivers stable maturation conditions that enhance colour, aroma, and consistency while reducing oxidation and “angel’s share” losses.

Register for our 90-minute webinar to explore efficiency in your winery from four expert perspectives — plus an interactive session to share insights and learn from fellow winemakers. Register at link in the comments. $39 or free for members.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the WISA AGM on Wednesday at ThincLab!

We looked back on a big year for our organisation and the wider industry, welcomed new committee members, and acknowledged outgoing members for their fantastic contribution.

A big welcome to Aaron Haw (Cork Supply) and Melissa Raymond (Garden & Field), and congratulations to Anna Lindsay (Rural Freight Connections) on stepping into the Public Officer/Secretary role.

We also thank Steven Scott and Amy Bishop for their dedicated service to WISA over many years.

Our 2025 Management Committee brings strong diversity, experience and balanced representation — and we’re excited for the year ahead.

We’ll also be opening a casual committee position in January, especially suited to someone with a background in viticulture, legal or accounting. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

It’s been a week since the Wine Industry Impact Awards Gala Dinner, but it feels like yesterday!

Here’s how the evening began…

6:30pm, sun shining, Jansz Tasmanian Sparkling Rosé in hand, and the beautiful sounds of Marissa and Marcus floating across the Intercontinental terrace. And of course fresh oysters thrown in for good measure! 🦪✨

Such a perfect way to kick off an evening celebrating the incredible talent and innovation across our wine industry.

Big thanks to our wonderful photographer, Ben Macmahon , for the fabulous photos of the night.

More photos to come. Please tag friends.
