TCMF 2026, done.

Here’s a few of our favourite moments. From first timers to returning favourites, we hosted a huge mix of artists across The Pub, The Longyard, Southgate Inn, Moonshiners and The Family Hotel. Sets ran long, crowds stayed put and more than a few shows turned into moments we’ll still be talking about next year.

Thanks to the artists, the teams across all venues and you for making this festival season arguably our best yet.

Proud to see The Pub Group featured in Australian Hotelier for our School Leaver Hospitality Program.
What started as a simple idea to stop waiting for staff and start building them has grown into a hands-on hospo workshop for local Year 12 students, covering RSA and RCG, bar basics, food handling and a real look at careers in hospitality and events.

As Craig Power shared, this is just the beginning. We’ll be expanding the program to more schools and regions, with a focus on traineeships and creating more opportunities for young people to step into hospitality with confidence.

Thanks to Australian Hotelier, our students, Tamworth Community College and everyone involved in making it such a success.

Earlier this month, Chef Graham Manvell travelled to Shanghai after being invited to judge at the 26th FHC International Culinary Arts Competition. 🇨🇳👨‍🍳

Over several days, Graham judged the hot section, assessing dishes built around lamb, beef and salmon, with flavour, presentation and organisation all taken into account. Outside the competition, it was long lunches, shared tables and time spent with fellow judges and esteemed chefs from around the world.

A few of those influences have already made their way onto the menus…

At The Longyard, you’ll find the Asian-style pork belly bowl and Thai Beef Salad with grilled rump steak and rice noodle. 🥢

At The Pub, Burrata di Bufala has landed on the new menu, made with certified Italian buffalo milk cheese, prosciutto and seasonal tomato. 🧀

🎓 CALROSSY STUDENTS INDUSTRY-READY 🎓
The Pub Group partnered with Tamworth Community College last week to deliver a two day RSA and RCG progame at Southgate Inn, including bar basics, food essentials and a careers in hospitality workshop led by TPG licensee Laarn White and Chef Tilly Ainsworth.

Thirty Calrossy Anglican School leavers showed up ready to learn, gaining practical skills and a clear understanding of what working in hospitality really looks like.

A big thank you to Calrossy Anglican School and Tamworth Community College for helping us support local school leavers into industry. Tamworth’s next wave of hospo talent is off to a strong start.

We’re thrilled to welcome Chef Graham Manvell to TPG Hotels as our new Group Culinary Ambassador! 👏
Born and bred in Tamworth, Graham comes from a proud family tradition in food and hospitality. His father and grandfather were both bakers and caterers, and that passion continues through his own family - his son is an award-winning chef in Brisbane, and his daughter works in hospitality sales with CBRE Hotels.
An internationally awarded chef and culinary judge, Graham has cooked in some of the world’s most renowned kitchens including The Savoy London, Mount Lofty House, and The Sebel Townhouse, and even represented Australia at the Culinary Olympics, bringing home gold in Frankfurt.
From his farm just outside Tamworth, Graham lives his paddock-to-plate philosophy every day - celebrating seasonal produce, global flavours, and the art of visual presentation. He’s passionate about mentoring and motivating young chefs, working hands-on in the kitchen to build skills, confidence, and connection.
We’re proud to have Graham lead this next chapter of TPG Hotels’ growth at The Pub, Southgate Inn, The Family, Longyard Hotel and Ibis Styles Tamworth.
