The energy’s turning up this Saturday as Deens | دينز & Friends bring bass-heavy global club sounds to the Laundry, while RAW takes the Cave deep into hypnotic, driving techno.

DEENS & FRIENDS

British-Palestinian DJ, producer and Laundry resident Deens takes over the main room with her signature blend of UK bass, global club rhythms and percussive electronica. Fresh off a feature on triple j’s Mix Up and the launch of her own event series Beyond, she’s rounding up a crew of like-minded selectors for a night of unpredictable selections, infectious rhythms and plenty of surprises.

RAW TAKEOVER

Sydney’s RAW collective takes control of the Cave, with Justin Muscat leading the charge. A fixture of the underground scene since 2013, with appearances at Subsonic and across Europe and Asia, Muscat brings his distinctive blend of raw, hypnotic and driving techno for a night of twisted rhythms and deep, rolling grooves.

8 YEARS OF LOVED [NAARM/MELB]

The brainchild of Naarm selector and multihyphenate Sam Jenkins, LOVED has spent eight years connecting underground communities through music, art, fashion and creative collaborations, with a presence spanning Naarm and Tokyo.

From intimate gatherings to late-night sessions, the collective has built a reputation for doing things its own way. Now, they’re heading up to Eora with some of Naarm’s finest selectors in tow for a special anniversary celebration.

MAMI BY UMAMI

Sydney selector 𝖚𝖒𝖆𝖒𝖎 takes the reins in the Cave, assembling a handpicked crew of local talent for a journey through jungle, breaks, 140 and drum & bass.

Having supported the likes of Andy C, Grooverider and Sub Focus, she’s quickly built a reputation for dark atmospheres, rolling basslines and high-energy selections. Expect plenty of low-end pressure throughout the night.

Eight years of LOVED, two rooms of carefully curated sounds and plenty to celebrate until the early hours.

We’re settling in for the long haul this Saturday, with an extended B2B session in the Laundry and a Cave takeover featuring some of Sydney’s finest underground talent. From the first tracks through to the early hours, both rooms are in good hands.

ELIJAH SOMETHING B2B FORGE [ALL NIGHT LONG]

Two seasoned DJs and producers, one booth and seven hours to work with.

Conspiracy mainstay Elijah Something joins forces with fellow Sydney veteran Forge for an extended session moving through house, garage, techno and plenty in between. Expect driving basslines, progressive sounds and a healthy dose of left-field selections as the pair dig deep into their USBs throughout the night.

LUSTII & FRIENDS

Sydney duo LUSTII take over the Cave, bringing their distinctive blend of dub techno, breakbeat, neo-soul and bass-heavy grooves. Both respected selectors in their own right, the pair have carved out a sound that draws from the more experimental corners of electronic music.

They’ll be bringing a few friends along for the ride, adding their own flavours to the mix as the night unfolds.

Summer is starting early. After a season spent between Ibiza, Europe and dancefloors further abroad, DAES & FRIENDS takes over the full venue for an extended night bringing some of that energy back to Sydney 🌞

DAES & FRIENDS - FULL VENUE TAKEOVER

Sydney’s returns from a huge European summer, with recent appearances across Hï Ibiza, UNVRS, Eastenderz, Glitterbox and Secret Sessions. His wide-ranging sound moves through house, techno, minimal, electro and disco, with plenty of groove connecting the dots on the dancefloor.

Joining him from Barcelona is REELOW [ES], fresh off the pair’s new collaborative single TOO SEKSI via House Delivery Records. With more than 15 years behind the decks, 𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗟𝗢𝗪 sound pulls from minimal, soul, breakbeat, hip-hop, house and techno, with releases across Desolat, Solid Grooves, Tamango and Elrow Music.

KELLY TEE [UK] brings her British roots and European influence to the room, weaving house, acid, garage and tech through chuggy basslines and low-slung grooves. A longstanding Revolver Upstairs resident, her sets are built around movement, personality and knowing exactly when to push a room.

From Tokyo, DAITTO [JP] rounds out the international contingent. Drawing as much from funk, disco and decades of pop as contemporary club music, his sets are groove-led and playful.

MONDE SONIQ TAKEOVER
Mauritian-born, Sydney-based NFRMT / Manveer brings Monde Soniq to the Laundry - a platform built around the meeting point between sound, art and community.

Rick Bull brings decades of underground history to the room, with his dark, dub-soaked approach to techno and experimental electronics having taken him from Berghain and Tresor to Detroit’s Movement Festival and the Sydney Opera House.

For its Laundry takeover, Monde Soniq brings together selectors, producers and live artists from across Sydney’s underground. Expect percussion, bass, Afro-influenced rhythms and sounds that move freely between scenes.

The days are getting longer, and so are the nights 👀

October marks the start of our build into summer - more time on the dancefloor, new faces joining familiar ones, and plenty still to come as we head towards the end of the year.

This Saturday October 10, we’re taking things all the way through to 6AM with extended trade - because some nights deserve a few extra hours ♨️

Then on October 31, we look towards the next chapter with the announcement of our 2027 Chinese Laundry Residents - a new generation of artists we’re excited to welcome into the family ❤️

AFTER HOURS makes its Chinese Laundry debut, taking over the Laundry with its signature lane of minimal, groovy house - no rush, find your own pace and settle into the groove.

For their first time with us, they’re bringing a few special B2Bs along for the ride, including ASHLEA MILINKOVIC B2B WILL HOPE, plus JASMINE SPARKLES making her debut club set.

Ashlea has been carving her path through electronic music from Wollongong to Sydney, while Will Hope brings a cheeky energy to his sets that can’t be ignored.

Fresh back from a music-focused trip through the UK, Sydney Massive co-founder David Lim returns to the Cave with another lineup of friends exploring all things bass.
