Before there was RAUS, there was the powerhouse indie company Don't Look Away ⭐️

Founded in 2013 by director Phillip James Rouse, their focus was on revitalising forgotten or neglected Australian plays. Their lineup includes award nominated productions of The King of O'Malley, Babes in the Woods, Inner Voices and Frankenstein.

Their final work was Phil's first original work, Night Slows Down, before Phil moved to London to train at National Theatre.

Luckily for us, Phil is BACK and bringing his audacious and hilarious writing to KXT bAKEHOUSE this October, reuniting with previous collaborators Annie Byron Lucy Miller and Julian Garner (can you spot them in the archives 👀)
