IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
BAR PIGALLE’S FINAL FIVE WEEK FLING

“Do you want the good news first or the bad news?” Anyone who has seen our owner and resident MC, Poppy Cherry, onstage at Bar Pigalle knows what’s coming next when they hear those words. The audience almost always chooses the Bad News so we're going to start there.

The Bad News: Bar Pigalle will be closing its doors at the end of February 2022. Unfortunately the current covid wave has presented obstacles that are more than our fledging bar/restaurant/performance space can survive. We’ll be open for a further 5 weeks of events before shutting the doors of Bar Pigalle for good.

We want to express our sincerest gratitude to everyone who has been a part of our magical little home over the last 12 months. From our amazing management team, to our bar and kitchen staff, performers and support crew who have worked tirelessly and always with a smile through an incredibly unpredictable time, always going above and beyond, to our our amazing customers and burlesque community who we have been absolutely blessed to host for so many wonderful nights of burlesque, food, drink & good times.

It’s bittersweet to have to close so soon, however we do have some Good News: Firstly our sister venue, Maison Burlesque, will remain open upstairs. Maison Burlesque is about to enter it’s 9th year of operation and does so as Australia’s largest Burlesque academy. Maison Burlesque will still be running classes, hens parties and more.

And the second bit of good news is that we still have 5 weeks packed full of shows for you to enjoy. Whether you’re one of our regular barflies or you’ve never been to a burlesque show before we’d love to see you at Bar Pigalle to give our venue a super charged send-off in our final five week fling.

Thanks again for the good times, and we look hope to see you again soon before we go.

They discussed Barangay and our event “Buwan ng Wika” that was supposed to happen on the 29th of August, Sunday.

However due to lockdown in Melbourne, we postponed our event .pigalle until we’re allowed to do it in full capacity.
