Fun fact: Did you know it took 48 cement trucks to deliver cement for the first floor? We hope the truck lovers in Googong had a front row seat from Bunyip Park that day.

Things were starting to take shape.

From the big cut to the first structure going in, you could begin to see Googong Hotel coming to life.

Many of you will already be familiar with the Royal Hotel Queanbeyan.

Now we’re excited to bring the same hospitality you know from RHQ to Googong, as we build the Googong Hotel.

This photo marks the moment construction began, when the first sod was turned on what will become Googong’s first local pub.

There’s still plenty to be done between now and opening day, so follow along as we share the journey and watch the Googong Hotel take shape.

Googong Pub Trust is looking to establish a new licensed venue, to be called The Googong Hotel, within Googong’s developing town centre.
Prior to the lodgement of the development application and liquor license application, we are seeking community feedback.
