For the past few years due to unavoidable circumstances we have had to postpone all producing and markets - It is with great delight that we are re-opening our markets for handcrafted (by us at Port Macquarie) jewelery and glass work.

At this stage the next market we will be looking at is Gladstone Market by the river subject to organisers approval!

Regardless of the lack of advertising - Laurieton Markets will be on tomorrow for us rain hail or shine. We could not help the cancellation of last months as no - one was consulted, Laurieton chamber simply went ahead and cancelled. If the same thing happens tomorrow you will find us in our usual spot regardless. We cannot afford to let all our regulars down twice in a row.

Keeping our worldwide status as unique glass art manufacturers always brings challenges.

However overcoming this by mixing with overseas suppliers at their local Trade shows has produced endless new ideas.

One of those is "Glass bubble art"

This is a new concept using 100 year old picture framing and window glass. The results are fabulous, from small pendants to a large wall installation the effect of light reflection and texture needs to be seen to be appreciated.

The pics show a new idea to Australia. A piece of 100 year old window glass + a talented Pixie and the result is fabulous. Make them an art piece, a pendant, bracelet or just something to hang and catch the morning sun.
