Following the successful release of the TWEN anilox laser cleaning system, Pamarco decided to put the cleaner through it’s paces to find out whether the TWEN TAC system would damage the cell wall of the anilox. As many laser cleaner customers have issues with the laser wearing their anilox over time, this round of testing was particularly pertinent.
It was decided an anilox with no previous exposure to laser cleaning would be used, and six, fifteen-minute cycles would be used with measurements taken after each cycle.
The results clearly showed the anilox regain it’s original volume after the first laser clean, and no wear was measured after the six intensive cycles.
So what does this mean for you? With many reports coming through of laser cleaners slowly but surely wearing and damaging anilox, you can be confident that the TWEN anilox cleaning system will be the right ongoing choice for you.
