We don’t often stock beers from outside the South Coast, so when we do, it’s for a good reason.

Last weekend we visited the nations capital to watch the mighty Roosters decimate the local Raiders.

As fate would have it, BentSpoke Brewing Co were celebrating their 12th birthday on the same day, so it would have been rude for us not to visit.

We enjoyed a few beers before the game including their Dick Tracey American Brown Ale which was the first beer they brewed for the brew pub.

It was so delicious, we just had to bring some back to share with our locals, along with an old favourite, Red Nut.

We only got 1 case of each and we’ve already drank a few, so if you want to try some, don’t wait. Get on down here.

This isn’t about drinking the most beer.

It’s about:

* taking on Mystery Beer challenges
* trying something outside your comfort zone
* learning along the way

HOW IT WORKS

Every month brings:

* a fresh championship
* new challenges
* Mystery Beers
* featured styles
* opportunities to score points and climb the leaderboard

Earn points by:

* participating in Mystery Beer Challenges
* attending Beerducation sessions

At the Tap House, we are not all about beer, we do have a selection of wines as well.

Over the next few weeks we will be trying out a few new varieties to see how they go.
