Entropy Sound

Entropy Sound Harnessing the chaos of Melbourne's heavyweight Drum & Bass. We started with the old Grumpys system. Subs, mids, the wall mounted tops and the sound rack.

A bunch of boxes pieced together and loaded into our Heidelberg basement; affectionally know as the Rave Cave. We then added subs from Rogue Magnetic and old amps from System Unknown; running park parties and bumping in at the old Woody’s bar in Collingwood. Using the pandemic as a starting point we embarked on our first ever box build, replacing the tops with a set of MT-121s . Followed by rebuilding the subs with 6 custom Super Scoops. And finally the dual 15" bass reflex kicks.

The dust has now settled and we've all had a chance to calm down a little bit after last weekend.
Thank you to everyone that came down, bought a ticket and made it such an amazing night

The tune selection was fire from the start, all the way to the end thanks to our stella local support from DJ SPINFX, MC Wasp, Jangala, Zero1 and Mechwarrior; with of course, Ed Rush smashing it out of the park with a good and proper rinse of what the rig can do.
Even though we were running at -20db for most of the night 🙃

There was a hell of a lot of planning beforehand to make everything work and facilitate the event, but the reason everything went so smoothly was down to the amazing crew Entropy's got behind the scenes. Everyone was on point with bump in, bump out; and all the times in between. Thank you to Tristan, Jon Mitchell, Tane Mahuta, Timothy-James Dunn and Dani for all the hard work.

Also thank you to everyone else who helped out with the bits and pieces, large and small, throughout the night. It's the community spirit that makes all the hard work worth it. You know who you are!

And finally thank you Proxemics, our brethren in arms, for playing such a major part in this journey and for always bringing out the best in us.
