Closure update: works are still ongoing on repairing our roof. Unfortunately it is taking a lot longer than we had anticipated.

For the moment, we do not have a reopening date and will be closed indefinitely.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused to those of you who have bookings and functions. We appreciate the understanding and know that as soon as we can safely open, we will do so.

We have faced five world record-breaking lockdowns, soaring food costs, unprecedented staff shortages, the prospect of a declining economy, and now another challenge. We have had to make the unfortunate decision to close temporarily because of ongoing issues with our leaking roof. As much as we love the old homestead charm of our building, the time has taken its toll on the structural integrity. We have tried running repairs, but it became apparent this week a much more urgent solution is required, both for the restaurant's survival and, more importantly, the safety and wellbeing of our incredible staff.

We will post regular updates on our progress as to when we can reopen. We would like to thank our loyal customers for their fantastic support over the last two and half years, and we look forward to welcoming you back to our restaurant very shortly.
