Before James Boag became a household name, it all started at the Cornwall Brewery in Launceston in the 1850s, when James Boag Sr. joined the brewery, where he would become the Manager and Brewer. Eventually in 1901, he and his son bought the Cornwall Brewery under the company James Boag & Son, bringing bold Tasmanian character to every drop.
