‘Somewhere in Spain, with nowhere in particular to be and nothing waiting to pull me back.

Long afternoons drinking w**e, wandering unfamiliar streets, soaking up the culture and enjoying the simple things.

No plans, no commitments, no rush to be anywhere.

Just good food, good company, and the freedom to see where the road takes me.

Entry - 004 - Nicolas Wuyts | Italy & Beyond 🇮🇹
Wolves howling just 20 metres from our tent… 🐺
On one night camping in Italy, we pitched up beside a wolf reservation. During the night, the wolves started howling in the darkness, incredibly loud at times! I even came eye to eye with one from inside the tent — you can just about make out its shape in one of the photos. An unforgettable experience, even if it was too dark to see much through the trees!

And then there was the night a storm rolled across the Italian hills, battering our hillside campsite with three hours of heavy winds. While my Wingman took a few swings at me in the night, my friend spent the whole storm holding up his collapsing synthetic tent, watching videos to pass the time. 😂

Needless to say, one of us slept much better than the other!

From howling wolves to wild weather, life under canvas certainly keeps things interesting. 😅

Entry - 003 - Òscar D. Santana Gaffer

‘On the first day of our trip, a car hit my bike, and my rear brake was completely out. We still had six days and around 3,000 km ahead of us.

That day, it rained, the wind was brutal, it was freezing cold, and I wasn’t even sure we’d be able to continue the next day.

That night, when we set up camp, it was the first time I really got to use my Wingman tent. I set everything up, we had a couple of beers, and cooked a nice steak.

Then the clouds disappeared. The weather finally gave us a break, and I lay there completely exhausted, under the tent with the sides wide open and nothing but the mosquito net between me and the sky.

It was one of the quietest and most beautiful skies I’ve ever seen in my entire life.

The next day, we figured out how to fix the brake, and I went on to have one of the greatest journeys I can remember, riding through the Pyrenees.’
