3,200km from Fremantle, right through the heart of the Kimberley. Red earth, open sky, and a convoy of WABi modules crossing the Kununurra spillway.

After 14 weeks being built in our Fremantle yard, these modules are on the final stretch to site. This is delivery the WABi way - on time, on budget, and through some of the most breathtaking country in Australia.

When Mercure Kangaroo Island Lodge — owned and operated by — engaged WABi, the brief was clear: boutique villas designed to sit seamlessly within the island’s natural environment, delivered without the typical construction timeline.

The WABi Banksia 1 delivered exactly that.

Expansive glazing and elevated decks framing views over Eastern Cove. Off-site prefabrication that kept site disruption to a minimum. International hotel brand standards, met on time.

Meet Justin! 👋

As our Construction Project Coordinator, Justin is at the heart of bringing projects to life—from early planning right through to on-site delivery. With hands-on construction experience across Australia, the US, and Asia, he works closely with internal teams and delivery partners to keep timelines, logistics, and build activities running seamlessly.

From Micronesia to Kangaroo Island, and from Marlamanu to Kununurra, Justin’s practical mindset and clear communication help ensure every project is delivered efficiently, safely, and to a consistently high standard.

Outside of work, you’ll find Justin exploring new corners of the world, line dancing, or spending quality time with family and friends.

We’re lucky to have you on the WABi team, Justin!
