The Bodega Locals Series is back tomorrow 🤍
And yes, the gnocchi are back too 🍷

There’s something about a Wednesday in winter that calls for good food, a great glass, and nowhere to be in a hurry. That’s exactly what we’ve built this series around — a weekly ritual at The Bodega where Dromana locals get to slow down, settle in, and be treated to something you won’t find anywhere else on the menu.

This week we’re pouring Feudo Montoni Nero d’Avola — a rich, soulful Sicilian red — alongside our gnocchi, two ways. Dishes and bottles chosen with care, opened for one night only, just for you.

Because this little corner of the Mornington Peninsula? It’s yours.

Our first night with Crittenden Estate sold out, and round two is shaping up to be even better.

For one night only, winemaker trades the cellar for our tables, sharing the stories, the secrets, and the why behind every glass, while you sip your way through nine of his finest.

🍷 9 wines (1 premium cuvée, 2 crisp whites, 4 bold reds, 1 sparkling red)

🍽️ A 2-course Bodega-style feast:

The Bodega Locals Series are bringing them back again: Gnocchi, just the way you love them✨🍷

On Wednesdays, The Bodega is yours. This is what’s behind this Locals Series.

We started this concept because we believe our Dromana locals deserve more than a regular night out. Every Wednesday this winter, we open the week with something made just for you: a dish you won’t find on our menu, a special bottle opened exclusively by the glass, and the kind of slow, unhurried evening that only happens when you’re among familiar faces.

This week we’re going full Italian.

Pillowy gnocchi, two ways. Paired with a glass of Feudo Montoni Nero d’Avola: a bold, earthy Sicilian red with the kind of depth that was made for a winter table and a long conversation.

This is our little corner of the Mornington Peninsula, and we want it to feel like yours too.

We’ve always hoped The Bodega could be that kind of place. Somewhere people come together, celebrate little wins, share stories, or simply enjoy each other’s company for a while.

We have a new winery in the house and we are so here for it ✨

This month’s residency belongs to The Cups Estate , a family run estate nestled in Fingal on the Mornington Peninsula. Founded in 1999 by Joe and Carmen Fisicaro, The Cups Estate is one of those places that just has it all: a 30 acre vineyard, a gorgeous cellar door, a restaurant, an olive grove, and wines with a serious trophy cabinet to back them up.

We’re starting the month the right way with this weekend’s $20 tasting flight:

Tender slow-cooked beef in a rich, savoury gravy, topped with creamy mashed potato and baked until beautifully golden. Comfort food at its finest, made for these chilly winter evenings.
