DJ Shinski is a renowned Afrobeat DJ and entertainer born in Nairobi, Kenya, and now based in Houston, Texas . His musical journey began with inspiration from Nairobi's matatu culture, where he dreamed of having his own mixes played on these iconic minibuses.

DJ Shinski, would be a special guest DJ alongside Adelaide best to usher teh vibes at the RIGER Live In Adelaide on 28/03/2026.

After relocating to the U.S., he balanced his passion with academics, earning an electrical engineering degree before pursuing DJing full-time in 2019 . Known for seamless blends and high-energy performances, Shinski has toured internationally across Europe, Canada, and Africa .

His accolades include multiple AFRIMMA nominations for Best African DJ in the USA and a World DJ of the Year nomination at the NEA Awards . His recent "Break The Chains" mix with Bebe Cool showcases his signature fusion of East African sounds with global club culture . With millions of fans worldwide, DJ Shinski continues elevating Afrobeat on the global stage
