Pici is a hand-rolled pasta from Tuscany. Thick, rustic, a little imperfect, and made with love, the kind of pasta that brings people together around a table.

When it came time to name the restaurant, we kept coming back to it.

It represents everything we wanted this place to be. Simple, welcoming, family-focused, and centred around good food shared with good company.

There will always be a pici dish on the menu.Just like the seasons, it’ll evolve throughout the year, showcasing different flavours, ingredients and inspirations from the kitchen.

Set at the intersection of Brunswick Street and Barker Street, this heritage site has long been part of New Farm’s rhythm, familiar, storied, and waiting for its next chapter.

For the first time, Will Cowper is stepping into something that’s truly his.

Not just as a chef but as a Co-owner.

After years in some of Brisbane’s most loved kitchens, it started to feel like the right time… to slow things down a little, and build something more personal.

Something shaped by everything he’s learnt, but also by the life he’s building with his wife Gianna.

Pici is a reflection of that.
